Preparing the Banner Exhibit – La préparation commence
Material needed to hang the 27 banners and one puppet.
In 24 hours, a crew of three will begin mounting the banner display for the March 13 Masses & Médias 2013 event at La SAT. We will be among more than a dozen other people from the various performance groups setting up their props and technical equipment for the multidisciplinary event.
This morning, I picked cord, clips, tape, velcro, bungee cords, staples, tie-wraps (not the kind the police use ;-) and a few washers. I just need to pick up some safety pins and I am set to go. I’m still not sure if my system will give the desired effect but that will have to wait until the installation phase to confirm. At last count, the exhibit will display 27 banners and one puppet.
